Description
A steel arm that carries the bike by its top tube and rotates through 360 degrees, so the bike hangs out for access and turns flat against the wall when it is in the way. That is the difference between a bike you ride and a bike you climb over.
It is a cantilever, which multiplies force at the fixing. Into masonry, use proper frame fixings. Into a stud wall it must hit a stud — there is no plasterboard plug that will hold a bike hanging on an arm.

Overhead storage vs wall storage in a UK garage
An up-and-over door swings in and takes the first metres of ceiling, so a rack rarely clears a parked car. Overhead only works with a roller door and joists.
Setting up a garage bike store
One mount per bike, hung by the frame at a height you can lift to, pedals and bars clear of each other, and the first metre by the up-and-over door left free.
A two-car garage that still fits two cars
Park both, open every door to its first stop, mark the floor. Anything inside the marks goes above bonnet height; the end wall takes the deep storage.
Bike storage clearance: how much wall space does a bike need in a garage?
Measure the bike, not a chart: its length, its height plus the lift, and the wider of bars or pedals off the wall. A rotating mount turns depth into bar width.
