Signs & neon
Signage is the cheapest change with the biggest effect on how a garage reads, because it is the only thing in the room that is there purely because someone chose it. Neon does double duty — it is the accent layer of the lighting plan as well as the decoration, which is why it belongs on a wall you have already finished rather than on bare block.
